Your baby is safe.

Your rest is protected.

Gentle, highly intentional overnight newborn care for parents who want real rest, emotional steadiness, and the freedom to wake up ready to love their baby well.

When the house is quiet and your body is finally ready to recover, your baby is held, soothed, and cared for with calm, practiced attention. You sleep deeply, knowing everything is covered.

This is not just help. This is protection for your healing, your mental health, and your early bond as a family.

Hi, I’m Lauren.

Babies have always been my safe place.

I’m Lauren Merrill — the fourth of nine children. I grew up surrounded by babies, and even as a child, I was the one happily feeding bottles, rocking fussy infants, and lingering a little longer when a baby fell asleep in my arms.

That never changed. I was the woman in the grocery store making faces at the baby in the next cart. The one at church choosing the pew behind the family with the car seat. I’ve always gravitated toward little ones. They’ve always felt like home.

Motherhood deepened that love — and made it more honest. With each of my three children, I experienced postpartum paranoia, anxiety, and depression. The hardest part wasn’t the diapers or feedings. It was separation. Even a room away felt heavy. Being told to sleep while someone else held my baby felt impossible.

I learned this firsthand: support and rest are essential — and no parent can thrive without both.

These experiences shaped me long before Cradle & All existed. They taught me empathy, patience, and why healing accelerates when you’re not doing everything alone.

The care I offer today is the care I once desperately needed myself.

Overnight Care, Cradle & All

Overnight support is not a luxury — it’s life-guarding.

Like a lifeguard by the pool, overnight care safeguards parental mental health, supports physical recovery, and creates calm rhythms from the very beginning.

These hours protect your well-being so you can show up rested and present when the sun rises.

Each overnight shift includes:

Attentive infant care throughout the night

Feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and resets

Bottle prep and light baby-related tasks

Gentle sleep shaping aligned with your values

Morning notes summarizing the night

Emotional reassurance and steady presence

This is care rooted in trust, consistency, and wholehearted attention.
